Louis DeCuir

President and Investment Manager

Louis DeCuir is the founder of Clearity Capital. He specializes in investment management, advisory services, comprehensive financial planning, and group retirement and deferred compensation plans. He enjoys developing customized strategies to help individuals and organizations achieve their goals, and always strives to provide his clients with conflict-free advice. 

After spending a couple of years affiliated with firms offering limited and proprietary investments and advisory services, he started Clearity Capital after realizing that he enjoyed the flexibility and freedom that the independent business model provided to his clients and himself.

Prior to this, he was an environmental engineer in the waste management field and held a state license as a Professional Engineer. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 2009 after serving in the active and reserve components as a Surface Warfare Officer.

Louis holds the Chartered Retirement Plan SpecialistSM designation and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.  He also holds investment advisory, securities, and insurance licenses in numerous states.

Glenn Hersch

President Emeritus

Glenn Hersch was the founder and President of Hersch Financial Group until its merger with Clearity Capital, and is the President Emeritus of the combined firm. During his long career as a registered representative and financial planner, he focused on comprehensive retirement planning and investment management for families and individuals. He has over thirty years' experience in the securities industry and has helped many clients work toward achieving their financial goals.

After working as a professional singer, manager of a menswear store, and sales director for a race horse ranch, he went into the financial services business after discovering that he enjoyed financial planning and working with clients. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Seventh Army Soldiers’ Chorus.

He is a graduate of Valparaiso University and Southern Illinois University. He continues to work with Clearity Capital as an unlicensed assistant.
